Supervision of pupils

Your Serve Tennis is responsible for pupils during coaching classes and coach organised activities.

Heatout

If coaching pupils, or their parents or guardians, have not been notified of cancellation of play 20 minutes before starting time they should come prepared for class.

Each venue should have a thermometer gauge located in the shade at an appropriate outside spot at a venue’s premises.

We recommend no play commence if the temperature is 35C on that temperature gauge.

If a class is in progress as the temperature passes 35C the class will continue until completion, however, a pupil, parent or guardian could stop participating if that is their wish, however, their class shall count as being complete.

Our recommended waiting time to see if there is a change in conditions is 30 minutes, in which case, the start of the next classes will be delayed. If the delay exceeds 30 minutes, the class may be rescheduled to a later time or date.

Washout

If coaching pupils, or their parents or guardians, have not been notified of cancellation of play 20 minutes before starting time they should come prepared for class.

Play will not commence if the courts are too wet.

Our recommended waiting time to see if there is a change in conditions is 30 minutes, in which case, the start of the next classes will be delayed. If the delay exceeds 30 minutes, the class may be rescheduled to a later time or date.

Yarra Junction, Seville and Monbulk all now have wet weather lessons indoors.

On occasions, Yarra Junction sessions will be held at St Josephs Primary School.
